Dutch freighter crew injured in mooring accident, died, Ipswich
Seaman died on board of Dutch cargo ship DAMSTERDIJK at Ipswich, UK, in the morning Oct 2, local media said. He suffered severe legs injures, was taken to hospital and died later in the hospital. Understood he was injured during mooring operation, so most probably, mooring line was involved. The ship arrived from Spain on Oct 2. except seaman’s age, in his 50s, no other details were given, his rank or nationality, or accident circumstances
