Defence Minister Johnny Mercer explains MoD's delay responding to training exercise deaths
Defence minister Johnny Mercer has explained why the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has not yet responded to inquests into deaths during training exercises - and said "no child should die in training in our UK Armed Forces". Parliament was told the coroner in charge of the inquest had criticised the MoD and said lessons were not being learnt from the tragic deaths.
