Perspectives on Safety - In Conversation With…Kaveh G. Shojania, MD
Kaveh G. Shojania, MD, is the Canada Research Chair in Patient Safety and Quality Improvement and the Director of the University of Toronto Centre for Patient Safety. Dr. Shojania is a leading expert on evidence-based patient safety strategies and translating research into practice. He led the team that produced the 2001 AHRQ evidence report, Making Health Care Safer, and was awarded a 2004 John M. Eisenberg award for his contributions to safety research. This year, he became the editor of BMJ Quality and Safety (formerly Quality and Safety in Health Care), one of the world's leading safety journals.
